This past weekend 9 other neighborhood friends (all but two live in Woodlawn) went to the mountains for the weekend. We rented a cabin in Banner Elk and had the best time!

Saturday morning, we shopped downtown Blowing Rock, ate lunch at the Blowing Rock Brewery (amazing!), hit up the outlets and then went to the Banner Elk winery before heading back to the cabin for dinner. I think everyone managed to do a bit of Christmas shopping and enjoyed relaxing by the fire at the winery.
Sunday morning, we packed up and went into Boone and shopped dowtown King Street. A few kids received some candy from this adventure. Our car load stopped at Cafe Portifino for lunch before heading down the mountain.
It was very relaxing and fun weekend with all of these ladies. Thanks to the dads for watching all the kiddos (23 kiddos were left behind!) Looking forward to the next "Mommy Getaway" with these ladies!
