Oh, Charleston!

Last weekend, I tagged along to AP's work dinner to Charleston.  We tacked on an extra day and viola! We had ourselves a little mini vacay in a fun city!  We loved staying at The Meeting Street Inn in downtown Charleston. Perfect location for walking to The Straw Market, shops, waterfront and restaurants.

Thursday night we were treated to dinner at Patriot's Point and this was our view :)

We woke up and breakfast in bed and then ran the Cooper River Bridge!  Wow!  Definitely not an easy run, but worth the view at the top for sure!

After a quick shower, we hit up Blossom Hill for lunch and then took a water taxi where dolphins were swimming and jumping all around us.  The next day, we grabbed lunch with Harrell and Wallace crew over on Sullivan's Island and came home to scoop up the babies.  Thank you Granny, Mimi/B and our friend, Tina for making this trip possible!

We capped off the weekend by visiting the Bluegrass Festival downtown with Amy, Marc and Marshall.  We had a pretty tired/grumpy 3 year-old on our hands so we didn't stay long, but that was OK because we were all eager to sleep in our own beds!
