Higsbe the fire dog was the main attraction at our field trip to the fire station this past week. The kids crawled through trucks, took a tour, received fireman hats, but the dog was the main attraction! The little polka dotted celebrity had the patience of a saint while 15 kids petted and chased him the entire time!
The only thing the kids were told they couldn't do was touch the siren button, other than that everything was fair game! The kids explored EVERYTHING!
Higsbe was trying to get a snack from the babies :)
Thanks again Durham Highway Fire Department! The kids loved it!
