Sleeping Bags and Science

Will had a pretty full Saturday a couple weeks back.  MiMi and B took him to another "Build & Grow" workshop at Lowe's, Monkey Joe's and lunch at Fat Daddy's.  He came home for nap and then went to the Life and Science Museum for a sleepover! Yep, Will and Adam spent the night at the museum and Will loved it!  They were fed pizza, visited all the exhibits and learned about owls (one of Will's favorites).

Adam said the kid went full force the entire time and had a blast :)

The museum had different "sleeping zones" one at 9pm, 10pm and 11pm.  Adam thought he would play it safe and chose the 10 thinking our child would be worn out.  Nope! At 10:45 Will was still whispering and chatting.  Adam, afraid they were making more enemies than friends was about to pack it up and head home, when the child's eyes FINALLY closed.

I have to say I was pretty impressed with both parties, AP for immediately volunteering for this event and Will for doing so well at his age.  Will also told me his favorite thing about the museum sleepover was his new sleeping bag.  ha! :)  They both said they would do it again next year, but next on tap is a real camping adventure with our neighborhood friends at Falls Lake in couple weeks!
