I love running races (short races, lets be honest!). I mainly do them for the t-shirt and the sense of accomplishment once it is over. However, when friends come along its an additional bonus! Last weekend, Woodlawn girls formed a team and traveled to Charlotte for the Color Run 5K.
One of the highlights of the weekend was staying and visiting with the Krug family. They used to live in our neighborhood, so we glad to catch up with the former Woodlawners and have a "Minute to Win It!" tournament! We played lots of fun games and Annie had gift cards and prizes for us all. She is the best host (games, dinner, breakfast - yes please!)

The next morning we welcomed the colorful powder as we ran around the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Spotted our favorite cheereleaders (Krug family) close to the finish.
Had the best time and was the "Happiest 5K on the Planet".
