Weekend of Walks and Rides!

We came home from the beach on Friday long enough to throw the bags in the door and change clothes because then it was time for Relay for Life.  Both Mom and joined PGUMC's team and completed our hour of walking luckily before the storm strolled in!
Saturday morning Parker stayed with Daddy while Will and I participated in the 2012 Vision Walk at Lake Lynn.  We wanted to walk and support Will's friend Lily.  It was a great turnout and the weather was awesome!
Will showed off his sign that he made for Lily :)

Not only did this event raise lots of money, but they had tons of entertainment for kids (bubbles, face painting, bounce house, free snow cones and ice cream)!

Saturday night AP and I celebrated a dear friend's 30th birthday.  Granny Pfanny kept the kids so we were able to sneak out and visit with friends for the night.  Happy Birthday Turg!
On Sunday we went to church and then drove down the road to New Hill, NC to ride the New Hope Valley train.  While you wait you can watch the little motorized trains ride around the tracks.  Will loved cheering for the Thomas train as it made its rounds.
Parker sported his train overalls as well!  Will even wore his conductor hat and yelled, "All Aboard!"
After finding out about this event, MiMi and B knew that Will would love it! So glad they were able to come along and watch his excitement!
 So mesmerized the whole time....
And this one was so content....
Our weekend wasn't over yet!  After a quick nap we put on our bathing suits and went to a pool party for AP's softball team.  Parker enjoyed the shade while his big bro jumped and swam around with Daddy!
Hope you all had a great weekend!
