My friend, Megan hosted a baby shower for Baby Will a couple weeks ago. Neighbors, family, soccer gals and some of my former Room Moms came to celebrate his upcoming arrival. It was a great day~thanks Meg!
I did want to share two special gifts. One being an Eric Carle quilt that my mom slaved over! She put in countless hours and it is awesome! I recently took it into work and everyone was amazed at how detailed and colorful it is! Thanks Mom!
This next picture is of a cradle that my dad made in his wood shop. Woodworking is his favorite hobby and he loved the excuse of his first grandchild being born to get the sawdust a flowing!

How sweet! I love the quilt and the cradle such thoughtful things for baby Will!
We have a cradle that all (15) of the grandchildren and cousins have used and we write their name and DOB on the bottom.
What AMAZING gifts! You will treasure these always! My dad also loves woodworking and he made me a baby doll cradle when I was little. Now its Emma's. Its wonderful having heirlooms to pass down!
