Farm Days

Cowboy boots were worn for the N.C. State Farm Days today! We had fun last year at this event so instead of neighborhood playgroup this week, we went to visit with all of the farm animals and have a picnic.

We were able to visit cows, horses, turkeys, bunnies, lambs, pigs and even hold baby chicks!

Look at my little farmer boy :) He rocked his overalls and boots!

Will was fascinated with all of the tractors. The child didn't have the patience to wait in line to sit on the tractors, he had to explore each and every one of them that instant! (Which led to this momma chasing him all over- thank goodness for a sleepy Parker in the ergo-whew!)

The best treat is the free ice cream at the end :) Strawberry, chocolate or vanilla - take your pick! It is delish!

Afterwards, we picnicked with the Hepps and Rodgers under this big huge tree :) By the time we got home it was 2pm and we all took a nice nap!
