One SWEET Visit

Last weekend we went to DC to visit Granny and Grandpa Pfanny. We were glad we brought our warm clothes because it barely got above 25 degrees the whole time we were there!

After we arrived we played with toys, typed on the laptop with Grandpa and some of our college friends, Jamie and Lindsay joined us for dinner.

Adam's cousin Grace goes to American University. So we were able to pick her up at her dorm and as a huge group we explored Georgetown. We were able to do some shopping, but were limited because it was so cold outside.

So we popped into Uno's pizza for some warmth and a couple bottles and beers.

Cupcakes always make the perfect snack! We originally planned on visiting the infamous DC Cupcakes bakery, but we were informed of another one that usually isn't as crowded called Baked and Wired. Majority of us got the peanut butter chocolate and they were DELISH!!

Saturday evening, we went to Chef Geoff's restaurant for Amy's birthday. The even had pureed baby food on the menu, so Baby Will got to order to his first meal! We had a great visit and look forward to going back when its warmer! We want to take Will to the National Zoo and maybe the Cherry Blossom Festival in the spring.
