Grayson Highlands~Virginia Creeper Bike Trail

Last weekend, Melody & Griff and Ashley & Kelly went camping with us at Grayson Highlands State Park in Virginia. It was supposed to rain the whole time, however, it held off until Friday evening and cleared up for us on Saturday so we could have fun hiking and exploring.

We hiked the Twin Pinnacle Trail first thing in the morning.

Next, we went and visited all the "wild" ponies.

There were so many of them. After lunch, we rented bikes and biked the Virginia Creeper Trail. We all had a blast!

Ready to conquer the Virginia Creeper....from beach cruisers to BMX bikes we are ready!

We did it! 19 miles (downhilll) and it was AWESOME! I highly recommend this trail to anyone. We had a great time pedaling down the mountain and stopping at the little shops along the way. We had some awesome hamburgers and milkshakes at mile 10 to keep us going!
