Downtown Wake Forest Arts Festival

Hmmmmm....Mom and I enjoyed the smell of funnel cakes all morning while we shopped throughout the Wake Forest Arts Festival. The downtown area was packed with arts n' crafts tents, music, entertainment and lots of food vendors. They even had a mini farmers market, where chickens were a very popular attraction. Believe it or not, we didn't do a very good job of stimulating the economy, we both walked away empty handed. We made up for it later when we stopped at our new flower shop called Gertie's Flowers. I drive by it every day to work and often stop at least once a week when I see that they have received a new shipment of flowers.
