With Wednesday being Earth Day, all the local museums were having various Earth Day celebrations in the area this weekend. So we decided to check out the
NC Art Museum's Spring Festival on Saturday. Most of the activities were set up for small children, however, we had a great time listening to the band "Sandbox" and checking out all the tents in the almost 80 degree weather. The museum had scrap tents, leaf stamping, basket weaving, clay pottery,
letterboxing (we found both of them!), paper bird making and food! Our Saturday wasn't complete until we ended the day at Mellow Mushroom for dinner.
