Finally, spring has arrived to NC and we were able to walk around in the sunshine this past weekend in Charlotte. We met Kelly and Rob, grabbed some pizza and went to the Elton John and Billy Joel concert (Face to Face Concert)in downtown Charlotte. All I can say is it was the best concert I have ever been to. It consisted of 3 hours of nonstop music and I had the privilege of sitting next to their number one fan (Kelly, who knew every single lyric for EVERY single song!). While we were in town, we also made time to check out the new IKEA. Even though the place was packed, Adam was a sport and we managed to make it through the entire store and we only made a few purchases. On Sunday, we had lunch with a couple from Adam's insurance company before we hit road back to Raleigh.

Billy Joel and Elton John
