Art Museum hiking trails

With the sun finally shining, we decided to make the most of it and explore the hiking trails around the North Carolina Art Museum. Adam and I have been inside the building, attended movies out on the lawn, but we had never hiked and walked around on the all the neat trails. We got to explore some of the statues and art on display as we walked. My favorite was the cloud chamber. You go inside and sit in this stone/branch house-like structure and supposedly clouds form. We didn't have the patience to wait for them, but it was cool to sit inside this structure and see all the shadows and reflections within.
Along the way we even did a little geocaching. We were 2/2 today. The second geocache was an easy find and probably one of my new favorites.

How cool! I didn't even know they had trails around the museum. We will have to check them out and let Aniela run around!
