We left from there and headed to dinner at Salsa Fresh with my parents. Adam and I could eat Mexican almost every day of the week. The four of us then headed to the NC Art Museum where they were showing the movie, Hairspray outdoors. This is just one of the events that the museum is hosting throughout their summer concert & movie series. Adam and I had gone once before and loved it so we invited my parents to come along this time. It was really neat to sit on the quilt, eat popcorn and watch the movie under the stars.

Picnic, Movie and Biking-- OH MY!
We barely unpacked from the lake before we were heading out the door again for some fun! My school was having a "Welcome Back to School" picnic for all the families and staff members. Adam and I dropped by around 6:30 and I was amazed at the number of people in attendance. The kids were having a blast dancing to the DJ's music, eating snow cones, playing on the playground, jumping in the bouncy houses and socializing with their friends and teachers.
This morning, Adam got up at 6 AM and hit the lake with his ski buddy. I enjoyed sleeping in, especially in my own bed, after being away for several days. We did some cleaning and laundry and met Adam's parents for lunch at Panera. This afternoon we did some yard work, cleaned up the boat, more laundry and ran some errands. This evening after dinner we managed to squeeze in a pretty good bike ride before it got too dark. Too bad Monday is right around the corner!
