Saturday morning, we were at Falls Lake right at 8:00 for some early skiing and wake boarding. Since it was only fishermen out at this time, the water was perfect and we had lots of big coves to ourselves.
We headed back home around 11:00 and mom and I headed to have lunch at GAKS tea & coffee house. The News&Observer did an article on this family and how they just recently opened up this little shop, so we decided to check it out. We went with one of my mom's best friends and her daughter. It was a fun outing and the scones were delicious!
While we were at lunch, Adam came home and rounded up Marshall, Dad and Ashley and took them back to the lake for some more fun. The boat sure is getting used and boy, is Adam happy! Saturday evening, we decided to support the PRIDE and cheer on the girls' soccer team for the State Playoffs. It was nice to be in the stands watching the team play and do so well. Its hard to believe that it was over 12 years ago that Kelly, Blair and I were the little froshies playing for Dink on the varsity team. The girls play again Tuesday night for the State Finals against Broughton. Go PRIDE!
This morning, Adam played golf with his neighborhood buddies at the Washington Duke Inn and I went to church with my family. They were hosting an outdoor service and Music Fest. They also honored all the preschool teachers. Marshall and I were glad to be there to support our mom. It was pretty neat and a nice change to sit in lawn chairs under the oak trees and listen to the blue grass band play. This afternoon we went to Riley Alexander's 1st birthday party. It was a PINK party! For dinner we met up with the parents at Manchesters for some pizza and now we're off to bed for another work week ahead of us. At least next weekend, we have 3 days off for Memorial Day!
The birthday girl getting ready to blow out the pink & green cake!

Can you email your phone number. I was wondering if you have Ms. O's (1st grade) number at home. Thanks Stef
