Rain, Rain Go Away!

I know we are in drought here in NC, but enough is enough. When it rains it makes us lazy, which is exactly how we spent a lot of our weekend. We stayed in town this weekend, which was a nice change of pace and extremely relaxing! Friday night, the Kelly family went to dinner for Mom's bday and came back to our house for dessert. Morgan & I surprised her with an Edible Art cake, talk about excitement! Saturday morning Adam and I headed to Selma, NC in the rain and checked out a boat. Many of you all know, Adam has been boat shopping for years, however, he is getting the itch even more and ready to be able to wakeboard whenever he wants this summer. Later in the afternoon, we watched August Rush and then got ready for the Kansas vs. UNC basketball game. The Moyes and Alexanders (both huge Tarheel fans) came over to watch the game. Both Adam and Peyton wore their Kansas t-shirts with pride that evening after the game was over! Today, it was still sprinkling, however, it didn't stop us from heading to church, lunch with Ashley and then out to Lake Royal to check out another boat. Tonight we are going to watch Kite Runner, gotta love the Red Box! Hope you all have a wonderful week and hopefully we will see some SUNSHINE!
